The Ministry of Labour (MOL), as part of its Safe at Work Ontario strategy, has published its annual Construction Sector Plan for 2013-2014 which details the MOL's enforcement and prevention initiatives for the coming year (the full plan can be found at the following link). The 2013-2014 Plan details the areas that the MOL inspectors will pay particularly close attention to over the coming year, including information on the construction safety blitzes. The objective of issuing this plan is to achieve greater industry compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). To read more, please click on the attachment below.
