In follow-up to a Member Bulletin sent last week detailing new employer requirements under the Employment Standards Act, 2000 (ESA), the information included in the attached Bulletin details the specific regulations that apply to construction employers. These regulations differ significantly from those outlined in the Employment Standards in Ontario (v.6) poster. Included in the bulletin are the special rules and exemptions from the ESA that apply to workers in the construction industry.
