Today the RCCAO and GTSWCA will be releasing three videos to increase awareness about the importance of managing excess construction soils from building and infrastructure projects. The main goal of the videos is to encourage the adoption of best management practices, including upfront planning to facilitate the beneficial reuse of excess clean soils.

You can access the three videos by clicking Video 1 Video 2 Video 3. Each one is about 2 minutes long.

Animation is the mainstay of the videos, but Video 2 entitled "Words of Wisdom from a Watermain Contractor" has actual footage from a construction site north of Toronto. You will find the contractor in question very knowledgeable and passionate about this topic, since his one of our own OSWCA Board members, Mr. Tony Di Pede.

This video series has been circulated to multiple ministries and government agencies but we would like the videos to be seen by everyone. Please circulate on social media.
