On July 16, the Government of Canada officially announced the details on the Safe Restart Agreement which will include $19 billion to provinces and municipalities to help the reopening of provincial economies across the country and to prepare for a potential second wave of COVID-19 this fall. Ontario's share of the newly announced fund will be $7 billion.
