The OSWCA has represented the sewer and watermain construction industry for over 27 years. OSWCA lobbying efforts, on behalf of our more than 700 member companies, reach all levels of government - municipal, provincial and federal. We were a major force in the creation of the Provincial Water Protection Fund to help municipalities deal with the downloading of water and wastewater services. Our efforts have led to the adoption of pay assurance legislation by several Ontario municipalities. We have also played a significant role in the disbursement of funds from the National Infrastructure Program. The OSWCA is also heavily involved in the issues surrounding safety, tender reporting, contract language, and other areas relevant to our members.
